    1. Wilson Hall

Named after President Woodrow Wilson, this iconic building houses an auditorium with seating for 1,372. On a clear day, from the cupola it was possible to see Staunton, the birthplace of President Woodrow Wilson, the building's namesake.

Original home to the president's office, classrooms, the campus post office, a recording and broadcasting studio, campus organizations, and a men's lounge, Wilson Hall now contains the Department of History and the History Studio, a cutting-edge studio that displays innovative history projects by both students and teachers using 3D printing and virtual reality; the Center for Health and Environmental Communication; the Cohen Center for the Humanities; and other student-related offices.

Study Spaces: Located on the Quad, Wilson offers beautiful, airy study spaces on the first and second floors. You’ll find easy chairs, couches, and chairs at small tables in the open spaces on both floors. On the second floor, up to six people can study together in a room with big windows. A sign on the door provides instructions for reserving the room (Wilson 2032), but anyone can use the room if it’s not reserved or currently in use.
