Adjacent to Bridgeforth Stadium's South end zone and the massive bronze Duke Dog statue sits the Robert and Frances Plecker Athletic Performance Center. Constructed to support all of JMU’s intercollegiate programs, it features a sports-medicine complex, a strength-training area, state-of-the art equipment, offices for Student-Athlete Services, Nutrition and Dukes Lead as well as the JMU football program. It is named in honor of JMU benefactors and fans Robert and Frances Plecker.
