Moncrief Residence Hall
First year residents at Moncrief Hall enjoy close proximity to the University Recreation Center, as well as the Brown-Lupton University Union (BLUU). The hall, which opened its doors in 1988 and was renovated in 2010, was a gift from legendary oilman and Honorary Trustee, W.A. "Tex" Moncrief, Jr. and his wife, Deborah. Moncrief Hall is named for the Fort Worth families of W.A. Moncrief and W. A. "Tex" Moncrief, Jr.
