Mount Evans
Visible from I-25 through Denver, Mount Evans is perhaps the most recognizable mountain in Colorado. You'll want to drive slowly up the narrow, cliff-side road that winds up its windswept faces, but the 360 degree uninterrupted view of the Colorado Rockies, the North American plains, and no shortage of shaggy mountain goats will make the white-knuckled trip worth it.
