Black American West Museum
As shown by this museum, the West was more than a wasteland of cowboys and outlaws. The Black American West Museum and Heritage Center celebrates black history in the West with a special emphasis on Dr. Justina Ford, the woman who once lived in the building as Denver's first African American Doctor.
