L. L. Roper Teaching and Learning Garden
This teaching and learning garden is an outdoor classroom/laboratory where students across various academic disciplines come together to plant, water, cultivate, harvest, laugh, and learn. This garden was established in 2016, and has, since that time, produced over one ton of produce every year - produce that goes to our neighbors in need. This garden is named in honor of Lucy Leone Roper Proffer whose love for the natural world was matched only by her love for family and friends.
