                  One of several Queen Anne style residences built in 1890 on the north side of Beacon Street west of Kenmore Square for prominent developers W.D. Vinal and George Wheatland, Jr. All, including 822, were designed by Samuel D. Kelley. You can see other BU residences designed by Kelley along Beacon Street at 832, 845, 850, 853, 856, 906, and 908, and at 90 St. Mary’s Street.
