      1. Guerry Center

Originally the University Center for the University of Chattanooga and named for the University’s seventh president, Alexander Guerry, the Guerry Center is now home to the UTC Honors College having undergone an $8-million transformation that was completed in 2019. The lower level of the Guerry Center houses the Crossroads Dinning Hall.

The Guerry family has led the University, spearheaded numerous campus physical improvements, and significantly invested in the UTC educational mission. The Alexander and Charlotte Guerry Professorships started in 1961, a lasting tribute to the accomplishments of the university’s seventh president and his wife, and a foundational gift from the family’s HAMICO foundation helped establish the Honors College.
