Lawrinson Garage (LWG)
The Lawrinson Garage is a two-level parking structure below the Lawrinson Hall plaza on the main campus of Syracuse University. Constructed in 1965, this parking deck can accommodate approximately 200 cars. The parking deck is cut into the hill with only the western end of the structure above grade. The exterior facades are precast concrete with chain link fencing above the perimeter knee walls. The deck has a concrete structural system and it is assumed that there is a membrane roofing system under the pavers on the plaza level. There are hollow metal egress doors on all four sides of this parking deck. The Lawrinson Garage totals approximately 65,500 gross square feet.
