Willamette University students have participated in internships with organizations like Tokyo International University of America, the campus that hosts the American Studies Program. This unique cross-cultural experience was started by Tokyo International University and Willamette University in 1989. Students who have previously participated in this internship have held the positions of international program assistant and international peer coach.
