      The student center is the main hub for student activity on campus. It contains the HU Bookstore, a Starbucks, a post office, a movie theater, a hair salon, a surplus of dining options, and club offices.

      The dining options include Sushi, Kosher, Organic, an Asian buffet, a salad and hot food bar, Pizza, and Pasta, as well as made to order burgers, sandwiches and wraps.

      The bookstore not only contains a plethora of Hofstra gear, but  also the area  where students are able to buy or rent textbooks. Some books are also  available as eBooks through the bookstore.

      Every other week Hofstra Concerts, a student organization on campus, puts on a free concert. Solo artists and bands from all over Hofstra get to perform to their peers, and the event is always paired with catered food!

       

      The Pride Den, located on the lower level of the Mack Student Center, is a community space dedicated to promoting inclusion and fostering a sense of belonging for all students. This vibrant and welcoming environment is designed to serve as a safe space where individuals can express themselves freely and connect with like-minded peers. With its colorful decor and comfortable seating, the Pride Den is the perfect spot to hang out, study, or catch up with friends between classes.
