University Mall Metered Parking
Payment of the meter machine is required for parking in these spaces.
Metered spaces may be utilized for the period indicated on the receipt received from the parking pay station. Parking pay stations are located along the University Mall parking area.
These spaces are enforced between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., Monday through Saturday (including holidays). Vehicles with state-issued handicapped tags or placards are exempt from meter fees. Vehicles displaying a University parking permit along with a state-issued handicapped tag or permit are also exempt. Vehicles displaying a University parking permit only are not exempt from meter fees.
Malfunctioning meters should be reported immediately to the Office of Transportation and Parking Services by calling (202) 552-7275. Vehicles are prohibited from parking in spaces with defective meters.
