Lined with pine trees, Stover Memorial Walk, is a broad east/west promenade that runs along the north side of Marston Quad between the lawn area and Alexander Hall and Smith Campus Center. Dedicated in 1958, Stover Walk honors alumnus Clarence T. Stover ’21, a trustee and chair of the Buildings and Grounds Committee.
Home to several rites of passage at Pomona College, Stover Walk serves as the location for departmental fairs during Admitted Students Weekend, Pomona College’s Annual Intensive Summer Experience Poster Conference and as the lineup location for seniors and faculty members during Commencement each May.
