Named for John D. Millett who served as Miami University's sixteenth President from 1953 to 1968.
The building hosts commencement exercises, plays, and concerts. Among those who have performed at Millett Hall are The Dave Matthews Band, John Mayer, Uncle Kracker, Ray Charles, Jay Leno, Josh Groban, and Hootie and the Blowfish.
