McGuffey House and Museum website
The McGuffey Museum, built around 1833, is the restored home of William Holmes McGuffey and a National Historic Landmark. Miami purchased the house in 1959. The house was only the third brick dwelling in Oxford at the time of its construction. The collection housed in the museum includes McGuffey's eight sided desk and over 700 copied of the McGuffey Readers in their many editions.
