The College of Textiles complex was built in 1991 and holds nearly 300,000 square-feet of space containing a Model Manufacturing Center, library, administrative facilities and teaching, research and outreach programs. The building is owned by NC State and is home to Pyroman, a fully instrumented, life-sized manikin capable of evaluating the performance of thermal protective clothing with 122 individual heat sensors placed throughout the his body. The Graduate School is located in this complex.
