The Phi Delt Gates, donated in 1973 by the Phi Delta Theta fraternity to celebrate 125 years since the charter founding at Miami, stand at the northwest entrance to campus. They replaced the brick Centennial Gates the fraternity also donated in honor of University's centennial celebration in 1909.
