    1. Nellie Craig Walker Hall (NCWH)

      301 S. Campus Ave., Oxford, OH 45056

Nellie Craig Hall is the home of several critical services for students and families, including One Stop, the hub for problem resolution in the areas of registration, enrollment, financial aid, student records, billing, and payment.

It is also the location of the Campus Services Center, the source for on-campus room selection and housing assignments, meal plan and MUlaa accounts, campus ID cards, box office tickets for non-athletic events, and campus parking customer service.

Originally, this building was the elementary level McGuffey Laboratory School, named for William Holmes McGuffey and used by Miami's School of Education. In 1995 the building was renovated and renamed Campus Avenue Building.

In 2020 the Campus Avenue Building was renamed Nellie Craig Hall. The granddaughter of a Civil War veteran, Nellie Craig was born in Oxford and raised with three siblings. She was one of 20 women enrolled in Miami’s Ohio State Normal College (now the College of Education, Health and Society), where she earned her two-year teaching certificate and was the first African-American educator to student teach in the Oxford Public School system to a mixed-race classroom. Upon graduation, Craig was an elementary teacher in Indiana.
