The college’s original library was housed in what is now the Berman Museum of Art. It wasn’t until 1970, just over 100 years after the college was founded, that Myrin would become the college’s library—at an event marked by the historic “all-day Book Walk.” An estimated 85,000 books were ceremonially carried by students, faculty and staff to their newly constructed home. Now, the majority of books (along with quiet study spaces) can be found on the upper levels, while the main floor is dedicated to collaborative student spaces and our information technology team.
