In 2018, the Bain Event Center was constructed with approximately $2,000,000 in funding as part of the Agricultural Science Complex. It includes bleachers and an area floor for a combined capacity of 2,000 – ample space for hosting many University and community livestock events. The 66,000-square-foot space is dedicated to the hands-on animal handling and training associated with agricultural studies as well as used by the WT Equestrian Team. The center is named in honor of Michael Bain, a graduate of WT agriculture and the CEO of First United Bank, and his family.
