Our University Police Department – the first at a private college or university in the state to earn Tier I accreditation from the state of Connecticut – features 20 sworn officers who are part of the very fabric of our campus community and who are on duty 24/7. Our police officers hold self-defense classes, public safety block parties, and an array of public safety programs in our residence halls.
