The Business Administration Building was originally constructed in 1951. In 1966 the building was officially named Browning Hall in honor of Tennessee Governor Gordon Browning and was used a dormitory from 1967-1973. In 1990 the name was officially changed to the Business Administration Building.
In 1975 the building was renovated to classrooms and offices and currently houses the College of Business and Global Affairs.
