The Agriculture-Biology-Library (ABL) Building was built in 1950. The library outgrew the space and relocated in 1967 to the Paul Meek Library. The departments of agriculture, geosciences and natural resources and biological sciences are housed in the building that was renamed for Dr. C.E. Brehm, 15th president of the University of Tennessee (1946-1959).
The building was remodeled and updated in 1975. A complete internal reconstruction was completed in 2001, and additional classrooms were added in 2009.
