Leon Levine Hall of Health Sciences — a state-of-the art teaching and research facility located adjacent to UNC Health Appalachian — is home to the Beaver College of Health Sciences (BCHS), which offers 10 undergraduate degree programs and nine graduate degree programs.
BCHS also houses the Wake Forest School of Medicine Physician Assistant Program, the Appalachian Institute for Health and Wellness and a second location of Health Promotion for Faculty and Staff.
BCHS opened in 2010 as the result of a strategic university commitment to significantly enhance the health and quality of life for individuals, families and communities in North Carolina and beyond.
