      1. Dean Hall

         Built in 1968, Dean Hall was the beginning of our science neighborhood at CWU. Dean was remodeled and modernized in 2008, becoming the university’s first Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified building.  

         
         Named after science teacher Dorothy Dean, Dean Hall continues to be the home to our science community, housing programs such as: 

         • Anthropology Department

         • College of the Sciences 

         • Geography Department

         • Museum of Culture and Environment
