      1. Flanagan Gym

The Flanagan Gym is a three level athletic facility located on the main campus of Syracuse University. Constructed in 1989, this gymnasium provides additional athletic facilities for faculty and staff on campus and workout space for the Syracuse Rowing Team. The top floor is an intramural basketball gym, the first floor contains a rowing room, dance/exercise room, and the basement level houses a number of squash and racquetball courts. This gym is directly linked to Archbold Gym via a second floor pedestrian bridge.

The exterior of this gymnasium is primarily brick veneer with a CMU facade on the rear elevation. The building has an original membrane roof and translucent fiberglass clerestory details around most of the upper floor gym. The main entry to the gym is via the second floor pedestrian bridge from Archbold Gym, and there are secondary glass exterior doors at the lobby areas. The majority of the outer wall of the two-story west lobby is metal frame, thermal-pane windows. Flanagan Gym totals approximately 49,558 gross square feet.
