      1. John A. Lally Athletics Complex

        This 1962 facility was primarily used as an indoor practice field for the football program, as well as other intercollegiate athletic teams, and also hosted Syracuse basketball games. When the basketball team moved to the Carrier Dome in 1980, this facility housed women’s basketball until renovated in 2012 to create a three-lane running track and an indoor Field Turf practice area for various athletic teams, including lacrosse, softball, soccer, field hockey, cross country, and track & field.

        This building, which also contains a Hall of Fame in the main entry lobby, is directly linked to other areas of the complex, including the Coaches’ Office Wing, the Stevenson Educational Center, the Anthony Basketball Complex, the Olympic Sports Center, and the Football Center.

        This facility is estimated to comprise 87,885 gross square feet.   

        The Ann and Milton Stevenson Educational Center for Student-Athlete Development at Syracuse University is part of the complex. It is located south of the Carmelo Anthony Basketball Complex and east of the Coaches’ Office Complex.

        This single-story facility opened in 1982 to provide academic support for SU athletes. Including the 1988 extension to the southeast, this building contains offices for academic coordinators, as well as computer labs, tutor rooms, and conference rooms. In addition, this building houses the SU leads Student Development Program and ‘Cuse Cares Community Service program. This educational center is estimated to comprise 24,930 gross square feet.   

        The Olympic Sports Center at Syracuse University is part of the complex. It is located south of the Arena and east of the Football Center. This single-story structure dates to 1962 and has undergone multiple renovations throughout its use, including recent improvements to the east wing in 2015. This building primarily contains men’s, women’s, and staff locker rooms for various Syracuse University athletics, including field hockey, lacrosse, soccer, volley ball, tennis, cross country, and track. It also houses a drug testing suite, visitor locker rooms, and medical/sports training facilities. This sports center is estimated to comprise 31,170 gross square feet.   

        The Football Center at Syracuse University is part of the complex at 1301 East Colvin Street. Built in 1985, this two-story structure lies south of Manley Arena and west of the Olympic Sports Center. In 1996, this facility was renamed the George R. Iocolano and William C. Petty Football Wing in honor of two of Syracuse University premier benefactors and alumni.   This football complex is estimated to comprise 49,261 gross square feet. It contains team and coaches locker rooms, as well as the 175 seat Ferguson Auditorium. In addition to offices, position meeting rooms, and student-athlete dining facilities, this wing also houses the Maury Katz Football Hall of Fame.   

        The Roy D. Simmons Sr. Coaches Center (Coaches Office Complex) at Syracuse University was added to the complex in 1994. This two-story masonry and concrete office wing is named in honor of Roy D. Simmons, Class of 1925, who coached boxing and varsity soccer from 1931 to 1970. This structure contains offices and meeting rooms for the coaching staff and the Stevenson Educational Center, which supports SU student-athletes. This administrative wing is reported to comprise 11,718 gross square feet.
