Ten Eyck Memorial Boathouse
The James A. Ten Eyck Memorial Boathouse is a two-story collegiate rowing facility for men’s and women’s Syracuse Rowing. The facility is owned by Onondaga County and located on the Onondaga Lake Outlet. This boathouse was extensively renovated in 1987–88 due to a joint effort of Syracuse University Athletic Department, the Syracuse Alumni Rowing Association, and Onondaga County. This rowing facility provides storage and training facilities with men’s and women’s locker rooms, an outdoor viewing deck and lounge overlooking the finish line of the river course and office space and an apartment for the rowing coach and caretaker. The boathouse has a painted CMU facade with brick accents and totals approximately 11,801 gross square feet.
