A portion of the Appalachian 105 property, located along North Carolina Highway 105 in Boone, is being developed to offer university-level, competition-grade venues for track, softball and tennis. The new Randy Marion Track and Field Facility was dedicated in April 2023, and construction for Phase 2 of the project — including a team support building and outdoor tennis courts — is underway.
