      Located at the crossroads of campus and community in downtown Boone, the Turchin Center engages visitors in dynamic and accessible exhibition, education, outreach and collection programs that aim to inspire and support a lifelong engagement with the visual arts. Admission is always free.

      The center features two wings and six galleries with changing exhibitions of contemporary artworks by regional, national and international artists. An art classroom serves as a space for art workshops, and a 105-seat lecture hall provides a venue for educational lectures and is home to the ARTtalk series and Lunch and Learn program.
