Charger Nation is known to raise the roof here, cheering on our basketball and volleyball teams. Jeffery P. Hazell Athletic Center, which was known as Charger Gymnasium until Summer 2023, has hosted conference and NCAA championships, as well as convocations, concerts, and even the Special Olympics.
Located on our North Campus, across the Boston Post Road from the main campus, Jeffery P. Hazell Athletic Center includes athletic administration and coaches' offices, locker rooms for our varsity athletic programs, the Tony Sparano Training Center, and sports medicine and equipment rooms. The main court in the Jeffery P. Hazell Athletic Center is dedicated in honor of longtime Director of Athletics Deborah Chin.
