The Piazza San Francesco , which houses classrooms and student apartments for our campus in Prato, Italy, is in the heart of the historic center of the city near Duomo di Prato, Cattedrale di San Stefano, and many monuments, and is a short walk from other classroom buildings and student housing.
Studying and living in a city off the beaten path of tourists, our students are immersed in an authentic Italian international experience.
Many of our students take part in weekly conversation exchanges with local students or take Italian cooking lessons at a local training college in exchange for language practice. They also intern at local businesses and volunteer in Prato’s schools. They quickly find favorite piazzas, restaurants, and espresso cafes. The train station is just five minutes away, enabling students to take the train to Florence in 20 minutes and locales all over Italy – and beyond.
