The Great Lakes Research Center (GLRC) is where Michigan Tech researchers tackle some of the world's most pressing freshwater challenges. Located on the Keweenaw Waterway, the facility supports cutting-edge freshwater research, hands-on learning, and collaboration from K–12 outreach through graduate and postdoctoral studies. It’s also home to a fleet of research and survey vessels.
