Located between the Van Pelt and Opie Library and Rekhi Hall, John Rovano Plaza provides an outdoor extension of the Library Café and a welcoming space to study, gather, and enjoy campus. The plaza is one of the stops along Alumni Way, a pathway celebrating the connection between Michigan Tech and generations of Huskies.

- Dedicated in October 2013 as the first project in the Alumni Way initiative
- Named in honor of John Rovano, longtime director of facilities
- Made possible through a gift from David Brule Sr. '72, who has supported campus improvements, student initiatives, and scholarships
