One of Michigan Tech's most recognizable landmarks, the Husky Statue, is a favorite meeting place and photo spot for students, alumni, and visitors. Dedicated in 2014 as the gateway to Alumni Way, the statue celebrates Husky pride year-round—including during National Engineers Week, when it trades its bronze coat for a white one.

- 1,600 pounds of hollow, cast bronze
- Stands atop a 25-ton, 1.8-billion-year-old boulder harvested from nearby Baraga County
