Sawyer Library is home to the humanities and social sciences collections at Williams. This research and academic facility includes historic Stetson Hall, the College Archives & Special Collections, Chapin Library, and the Center for Educational Technology.
A LEED certified building, the library addresses sustainability through solar panels on the roof and by optimizing natural light throughout the building.
The building is named for former Williams President John E. Sawyer, Williams Class of 1939.
