      1. Mission Bay Aquatic Center

         UC San Diego played an integral role in the development and certification of the Mission Bay Aquatic Center as a LEED Platinum building. Led by UCSD students, a joint UCSD/SDSU team documented the Center’s many sustainable building features, including a 41 kilowatt solar photovoltaic system, waterless urinals, occupancy sensors, and high efficiency water systems.
