    1. Force Advanced Technology Center

      Constructed in 1997 and named after philanthropists Ralph and Helen Force, the Ralph and Helen Force Advanced Technology Center is the home of Penn State Altoona's bachelor of science degree in electro-mechanical engineering technology. The building contains five state-of-the-art engineering labs, including a machine shop/chemical lab, a manufacturing lab, a senior project lab, a controls lab, and a communications lab, as well as classrooms and office space.

      Ralph and Helen Force

      Completed in 1997, the Force Advanced Technology Center was named in honor of Ralph and Helen Force, who celebrated the legacy of their successful electric motor company with a gift that led to the construction of a permanent home for the college's electro-mechanical engineering technology program.
