Cantor Warehouse
The Nancy Cantor Warehouse at the University of Syracuse is located at 350 West Fayette Street Syracuse, New York. Originally constructed in the 1920s and expanded in the 1950s, this former Dunk & Bright Furniture warehouse was acquired by the University and substantially renovated in the spring of 2005. The building was reoccupied in January 2006, and in November 2013, it was renamed in honor of Nancy Cantor, the University’s 11th chancellor and president. This upgraded facility now contains ten stories of offices, classrooms, conference rooms, work areas, galleries, book stacks, and workshops, as well as community spaces for art education, artists and community use. This structure is reported to comprise 139,982 gross square feet.
