Eggers Hall
Eggers Hall at Syracuse University was named in honor of Chancellor and former economics professor Dr. Melvin A Eggers. First occupied on December 28, 1993, this six-story steel and concrete structure is located on Crouse Drive, south of Maxwell Hall. It contains offices, conference rooms, classrooms, and lecture halls for the various departments of the Maxwell School, including history, economics, political science, and geography. It also houses a third floor coffee shop and the large four-story JoAnn Heffernan Heisen Atrium link to the historic Maxwell Hall. Eggers Hall is reported to comprise 166,396 gross square feet.
