      1. Crouse College

        Crouse College is located south of University Place and west of Crouse Drive on the main campus of Syracuse University. The building was constructed in 1889 as the John Crouse Memorial College for Women. It is a four-story brick and stone masonry structure with steep-sloped roofs and corner turrets, constructed in a gothic style. The building is on the National Register of Historic Places and houses the Setnor College of Music with offices, classrooms, practice rooms, and a performance auditorium (originally the chapel). The interior features wood ceilings and carved wood handrails. In its current configuration, the building contains about 79,629 square feet of space.
