      1. Humanities and Social Studies Center

         The new Humanities and Social Studies Center brings multiple departments together in one building to create innovative learning spaces that encourage multidisciplinary collaboration, student-led inquiry, and “intellectual collisions.”
         
         

         The complex houses the non-fine-arts humanities and social studies departments, as well as the Institute for Global Engagement; the Center for Teaching, Learning, and Assessment; and the Writing, Reading, and Speaking Center. It includes the renovation and expansion of the iconic Alumni Recitation Hall (ARH) and Carnegie Hall.
