      1. Hopkins House

        Directly across from Herrick Chapel, Harry Hopkins ’12 House is a Queen Anne structure with a prominent tower in the corner. The house is named for Harry Lloyd Hopkins, a 1912 Grinnell graduate who became world-famous as the chief aide to President Franklin D. Roosevelt during the Great Depression. Today, faculty offices occupy the house.
