      1. Bucksbaum Arts Center

        The Bucksbaum Arts Center encourages the creation of interdisciplinary work in the arts. Bucksbaum is home to the departments of music, studio art, art history, and theatre and dance as well as Grinnell College Museum of Art and its main exhibition space, the Faulconer Gallery.

        Designed by César Pelli and completed in 1999, Bucksbaum also houses multiple performance spaces for students and members of the community. It is named for Carolyn Swartz Bucksbaum ’51, a trustee of the College and passionate patron of the arts.

        Catch the Grinnell Singers in the concert hall, or one of the many campus a cappella groups in the rotunda.
