         During Homecoming of 2009, the Texas State Pride & Traditions Committee opened a Memorial Garden, located next to the Bell Tower and in between Flowers Hall and Lampasas Hall.
         
         

         This garden is established in memory of Texas State students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends who have passed away. Memorial plaques may be purchased for $400, which covers the cost of the plaque and installation.
