      • The School of Health and Applied Human Sciences
      • UNCW Athletic Department offices
      • Trask Coliseum serves as the home floor for the men’s and women’s basketball teams, but many other special events have taken place at the arena.
      • Trask Coliseum was the site of the Federation Cup women’s tennis semifinal match between the United States and France in 1998, and the arena was also the pre-season training home of the National Basketball Association’s Washington Wizards for three seasons from 2001-2003.
      • Numerous concert and state performers have also appeared in the arena as part of the North Carolina Azalea Festival.

      Historical Info:

      Trask Coliseum is named for Raiford G. Trask, benefactor and former Trustee of Wilmington College. Mr. Trask was part of the trustee effort to locate the campus on its current site on College Road.
