The Student Health Center and Pharmacy on the corner of Peter Bryce Blvd and University Blvd is the medical home for UA’s more than 38,000 students.  A wide range of clinical services are provided, including primary care, women’s health, psychiatry, allergy/immunizations, medical nutrition therapy and nutrition education.  The services can meet 95% of the students’ medical and health care needs. For those sub-specialty services not in-house, the Referral Nurses provide access to local resources in an expedient manner.

The building features flat screen televisions and murals of the University’s scenic camps in the exam rooms.  An in-house pharmacy provides immediate access to prescriptions as well as over the counter products. Lab and x-ray services are available within the same building.   Fully accredited by the rigorous AAAHC (Assoc. for the Accreditation of Ambulatory Health Care Facilities) since 1995, the SHC & Pharmacy has been committed to quality and excellence and serves as an asset to the university student population. Beyond these clinical services the SHC & Pharmacy provides extensive prevention health education from a public health perspective through its Dept. of Health Promotion and Wellness with its award-winning peer education programs.

For additional information see the SHC website.
