Opened in 2024, the Engineering Collaborative Research and Education Building (ECoRE) became Penn State’s largest academic building. Across 290,000 square feet, ECoRE features research spaces, teaching labs, and administrative offices for four academic units: the Department of Aerospace Engineering, the Department of Architectural Engineering, the Acoustics Graduate Program, and the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Along with nine general-purpose classrooms, ECoRE is also home to the Center for Engineering Outreach and Inclusion, the Engineering Advising Center, and the Engineering Library.
