Opened in fall 2018 as a freshmen residence, the John H. England Jr. Hall offers a fully furnished double occupancy room with a private bathroom shared only with a roommate. A convenience store is located on the 1st floor, as is a community kitchen. Each floor features access to laundry. The hall is named for one of the University’s and state’s greatest civic leaders, the Honorable John H. England Jr., a member of the Board of Trustees of The University of Alabama System and circuit judge in Tuscaloosa. A virtual tour is available at the Housing and Residential Communities website.
