         Sid McDonald Hall houses the UA System Office, which includes the Chancellor’s Office. The UA System Office oversees the University of Alabama System, which is comprised of three doctoral research institutions – The University of Alabama, the University of Alabama in Huntsville and the University of Alabama at Birmingham – and the world-class UAB Health System. Established in 1969, the UA System is governed by the Board of Trustees.
